stunning combination of a high-spec. driver,
a powerful amplifier and the versatility
of outboard controls. Its highly regarded
10" woofer is taken from the Model
2.9 and is capable of linear 26mm peak-to-peak
excursion. The powerful 250-Watt amplifier
employs innovative Sunfire technology for
tight, dynamic control over the woofer.
The SubOne's outboard Controller provides
volume and bass tuning functions, as well
as a front-panel switch to tailor the subwoofer's
sound for music or movie listening. "Flat"
response is offered for articulate musical
reproduction, and "video contour"
mode will deliver gut-wrenching punch for
demanding home theater soundtracks. A variety
of connection options are available, making
SubOne a flexible addition to any audio
system.
A 20-foot extension cable (Model X-20)
is available to accommodate longer runs
between the subwoofer and Controller.
