The three-way VT-1.2 Audio/Video tower is designed to take up as little space as possible and to blend in unobtrusively with its surroundings. The narrow cabinet houses two 4.5" drivers working in tandem and a 1" soft dome tweeter in a separate, internal acoustic suspension upper chamber. An 8" side firing subwoofer is mounted near the floor on the outside of the cabinet, delivering bass response down to a solid 33Hz.

A front mounted A/V switch enables the user to optimize the performance of the loudspeaker for either music or home theater sound reproduction. The "Audio" mode provides precise imaging characteristics required for stereo music playback. The "Video" mode provides a broadened image and soundstage that mimics the playback of a movie theater. The VT-1.2 can be biamplified with an SA-2 amplifier.
